We had snow for a week! And it was great riding. After several days of temps in the 50's that snow is fading fast. There are a lot of wet open spots in the trails, hillsides facing south are pretty thin or bare, and the icy base is again exposed.

The groomer is parked until temps are cooler, the ground is frozen again and there is snow.
Some trails are still passable, but any trail passing through West Hartford - the ground is bare there.
Graves Road is mud! And we cannot ride on the edge or onto the landowners property. They are very ugly through there and one new landowner has closed his property to everything, and is putting signs up to legally post it. Please respect their decision so that we can use the trail when the ground is frozen. Upset landowners do get trails closed.
Stay off any and all ponds! The ice is not stable after these warm temps and rising water from melting.
The Copper Mine trail remains closed (class 4 trail) and will be until a reroute is found.

Please be careful when riding the trails - yield to the groomer when you meet on the trail - those guys are out there making better trails for you. Be courteous and give them room to do the job! They love it when you wave and say thanks.

A big thanks to all our groomer operators who are out there working on the trails after working all day!
Thank you so much!
